Donald L. Kreischer, 74, of Cromwell, IN, passed away at 4:40 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his residence in Cromwell, IN.  He was born on Friday, June 24, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN.  The son of George W. and Ruby (Mesamore) Kreischer.  Don graduated from the Hartford City High School Class of 1957.  He served in the Indiana National Guard, Hartford City Post from 1960-1966.  Don married Mary L. Williams on October 25, 1967 in Bluffton, IN.  Don retired from Corning Glass and then worked as a custodian for Southern Wells Schools and also for Kautex-Textron in Avilla.  Don and Mary moved to Harper Lake in 1996.  Don was a member of the Lions Club and was also an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by:Father - George W. Kreischer, Mother - Ruby (Mesamore) Kreischer, Brother - Robert Kreischer, Brother - Johnie Kreischer, Sister - Dora May Uhrick

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Sunday, July 01, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, July 02, 2012.

A service to celebrate Don's life will be at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 02, 2012 with pastor Allen Laws officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery in Lancaster.
