Gene Daggett, 51, of Andrews, IN, passed away at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 08, 2012 at his Residence in Andrews, IN.  He was born on Monday, March 13, 1961, in Portsmith, VA.   Gene graduated from Huntington North High School Class of 1979.  He married Chris Forth on 6-9-1990 in Andrews, IN.  Gene owned and operated the Huggy Bear in Huntington, IN.  He had coached PAL club football as well as Fort Wayne Baseball Travel League.  Gene loved bird wathcing, fishing and sports.  Gene has served in the U.S. Army for 3 years.  Survivors include:Father -Dallas Heyde,Warren, IN, Mother - Sheila (Hubbert) Heyde, Warren, IN, Wife - Chris (Forth) Daggett, Andrews, IN, Son - Jairus Daggett, Warren, IN, Daughter -Victoria Lane, Andrews, IN, Son - Ethan Daggett, Andrews, IN, Sister - Rene Eltzroth, Warren, IN, Brother - Kirk (Kim) Heyde, Marion, IN, Sister - Stacey (Tom) Kellam, Liberty Center, IN, Sister - Marsha Graham, Bluffton, IN, Brother - Todd Heyde, Warren, IN, Brother - Lance Heyde, Warren, IN. Street, Warren at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012 with the Pastor Mark Davis     officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren with Graveside Military Honors conducted by the Huntington County V.F.W.
