Mary Ann Bailey, 86, of rural Geneva, IN, passed away at 10:25 AM on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Swiss Village in Berne, IN.  She was born on Friday, May 29, 1931, in Adams County, IN.  She married James D.  Bailey on Saturday, December 29, 1951 in Portland, IN. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2015.  Mary attended the Hartford Twp. Schools in Adams County. She had worked for Franklin Electric in Bluffton, In and also at the McCabe Casket Factor in Geneva for 22 years. Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, collecting dolls, feeding birds, and bowling. She was a member of the Mothers Club.


Loving Survivors Include her  Son - James Duane (Shari) Bailey, Geneva, IN, Son - Gerald Lynn (Vicki) Bailey, Portland, IN, Son - Allen Lee (Linda) Bailey, Seymour, IN, Daughter - Cindy (Clyde) New, Bryant, IN, Son - Stuart Owen (Amanda) Bailey, Geneva, IN, Son - Curtis Ralph (Nicky) Bailey, Baltimore, MD,Sister - Patricia Moser, Bluffton, IN, Brother - Robert Grogg, Portland, IN, Brother - Thomas Grogg, Berne, IN, 16 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her Father - Glen Grogg, Mother - Hazel (Morgan) Grogg, Husband - James D. Bailey, Sr., Brothers - Glen Grogg, Donald Grogg, and Sisters - Crystal Hough,  Elizabeth Schmidt, &  Katherine Fields.


Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, October 27, 2017.


A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home  at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 with  Pastor Michele Isch  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
