Larry D. Couch, 72, of Poneto, IN, (Chester Twp. Wells Co.) passed away at 11:57 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his residence in Poneto, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, May 22, 1945, in Huntington County, IN.  He married Rosalie A. (Moorman) Couch on Saturday, September 26, 1964 at the Dillman United Brethren Church.  Larry was a 1963 graduate of Jackson Center High School. He attended the International Business College in Fort Wayne. He retired from Franklin Electric in Bluffton after serving in their IT Dept. for 44 years. Larry was a lifetime resident of Wells Co. where he had been a farmer. He was a member of the New Hope Missionary church in Bluffton.  He had formerly served on the Southern Wells School Board. Larry enjoyed farming, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

 

Loving Survivors Include his Daughter - Laura (Rod) Sills, Roanoke, IN, Son - Mike (Kim) Couch, Bluffton, IN, Brother - Steven (Sharon) Couch, Warren, IN, Sister - Mara Jo (Alan) Williams, Bluffton, IN, Grandsons - Adam (Jessica) Sills, North Carolina, Grant Sill, Roanoke, IN, and Granddaughters - Taylor Couch, Bluffton, IN, & Riley Couch, Bluffton, IN.

 

 

He was preceded in death by his Father - Paul E. Couch, Mother - Ethel (Harrold) Couch, and Wife - Rosalie A. (Moorman) Couch.

 

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

 

A service to celebrate Larry’s life will be at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home  at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 with  Pastor Gary Aupperle officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery in Warren.
