Heaven gained a new Angel.

 

Mrs. Bonita M. Hoch, 84 passed away at 4:25 PM , Friday, January, 4, 2013 in Heritage Pointe, Warren, IN. Her family was by her side, holding her hand when she set out on the final leg of her journey. The moment was peaceful.

She was born February 24, 1928 in Marion, IN, to Albert Duncan and Donna (Bartholomew) Duncan. She married Charles E Hoch May 9, 1948 in Van Buren, IN. He survives.

Bonita was a graduate of Van Buren High school class of 1946. She was a seventy eight year member of the Van Buren United Methodist Church, Van Buren, IN. She was a member of the U.R. Welcome Sunday School Class of that church and sang in the church choir for many years.

The family would like to thank the Heritage Pointe staff and Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, IN. for all the care and support over the past year and a half.

Survivors include her Husband: Charles Hoch of Marion, IN., One Son: Randy Hoch of Upland, IN.Two Daughters: Paula (Warren) Brose of Westerville, OH and Jacquelyn Duggan of Upland, IN., Three Granddaughters: Shannon Duggan of Fishers, IN. and Brittany Brose of Memphis, TN. and Natalie Hoch of Swayzee, IN and one Grandson: Lance Hoch of Swayzee, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father and one sister, Kathryn Karchner.

Services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00am in the Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, Van Buren, IN. With the Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating with the Rev. John Parks assisting.

Friends may call to remember and share with the family from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm in the Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, Tuesday January 8, 2013 and from 10:00am to 11:00am on January 9, 2013, the day of the services.

Memorials may be made to the Van Buren United Methodist Church, Van Buren, IN. Envelopes will be at the funeral home.
