Bud Shores, 79, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN. He was born on Thursday, March 23, 1933, in Hartford City, IN. Bud graduated from the Montpelier High School Class of 1951. He married Betty J. Williams on March 21, 1953 at the Pleasantdale United Methodist Church, Montpelier, IN. Bud served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War. He worked at 3M in Hartford City for 36 years before retiring. Bud had also been a farmer. He enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture. Bud loved his grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Bud's life will be at Pleasantdale United Methodist Church-Montpelier, IN at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2013 with the Rev. Chris Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Cemetery in Montpelier.
