The Fergusons made many improvements to the funeral home and provided ambulance service for many of those years. Dave Ferguson is a graduate of Van Buren High School and the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He served in the U.S. Army, is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, the United Methodist Church and has served as president of the Van Buren Cemetary for many years.
The Fergusons joined the Glancy's in 2006. Dave Ferguson manages the funeral home and will continue to serve the families of the Van Buren community for many years to come.

The Mayhugh Funeral Home was founded in 1937 in Van Buren and operated until 1957. At that time Dave Ferguson, a native & lifetime resident of Van Buren purchased the business and changed the name to Ferguson Funeral Home where he and wife Elaine served the families of the Van Buren area for the next fifty years. Dave & Elaine have two children, Susie of Van Buren and Tim of
California along with three grandchildren.
