The Glancy - H. Brown & Son Chapel Funeral Home was established in 1841 and is the oldest business in Huntington county. The Glancy family purchased the business in 1990 from George Bergman who was the fifth generation great-great grandson of H. Brown. George Bergman operated the family funeral and furniture business for over fifty years serving the families of Huntington, Wells & Grant counties until his death in 2004.
The Glancy family later purchased the Butler Funeral Home in Warren that was established in the 1940's and later merged the H. Brown & Son and Butler Funeral Homes into one location located at 203 Matilda Street. A new chapel, lounge and casket selection room was added to better serve the families of the Warren and surrounding communities. Glancy - H.
