Arthur "Bill" Losure, 64 of Van Buren, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Marion General Hospital.

Bill was born on December 31, 1958, to John Losure and Ann (Robinson) Whelchel. He attended Eastbrook High School and most recently worked for Wright Repairs in Gas City, Indiana, as a mechanic for almost 15 years taking pride in his work. Bill liked driving his tractor, and as an auto enthusiast, he enjoyed attending Ducktail Run as well as any car show. He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR and attending the U.S. Nationals with his two sons, Jonathan and Josh. Bill had an ornery streak and could be quite stubborn, but he was a hard worker who loved his family above all else. Bill enjoyed spending his time fishing and spoiling his grandchildren, Corbin and Harper.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John Losure and Ann Whelchel, and siblings, Jay Maddy and Edward Maddy.

Loving survivors include his sons, Jonathan Losure of Westfield, IN, and Joshua (Lacie) Losure of Gas City, IN, grandchildren, Corbin Losure, Harper Losure, and siblings, Jackie Losure, John (Cathy) Losure Jr., Jerry Maddy Jr., Jill (Leonard) Lewis, Tim (Tina) Losure, Gene Losure, and Keith (Beth) Losure.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Van Buren United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 108 Second St. Van Buren, IN 46991, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 10AM to 1:00PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM and burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, Indiana.
