Barbara W. Girod, age 9 days, of rural Adams County, Berne, IN, passed away at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 10, 2025, at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Berne, IN.  She was of the Old Order Amish.

She is survived by her parents - Levi K. and Lizzie W. (Schwartz) Girod, Berne, IN., sister - Lucy W. Girod, Berne, IN., paternal grandparents - Menno R. and Catherine B. (Christner) Girod, Berne, IN., maternal grandparents - Martin B. and Magdalena (Wickey) Schwartz, Berne, IN

Viewing will be held at the Levi K. Girod residence, 4697 E. 800 S. Berne, IN., on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Girod Residence.

A funeral service will be at the Levi K. Girod Residence, at 12:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025, with Bishop Menno R. Girod officiating.

Burial will follow in the Blue Creek Amish Cemetery in Berne.

Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
