Carl William "Bill" Cook, age 85, of Uniondale, IN, passed away at 8:11 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at his home. He was born on Friday, January 3, 1941, in Geneva, IN.  He married Carol Ann (Rosswurm) Cook on Saturday, October 19, 1968 in Decatur, IN. Bill attended Jefferson High School. He served his country in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Ossian Baptist Church. Bill was a life member of the V.F.W. in Angola and had lived at Crooked Lake in Angola for 20 years. He worked for Monroe Elevator, Nussbaum Novelty, Berne, IN, Eckhart Woodworking, Monroe, IN, and at Walmart for 15 years. Bill enjoyed working on the garden tractor, gardening, mowing, and fishing. The family would like to give special recognition to Karena Story (Grasshopper), his caretaker.

He will be forever missed by his Wife - Carol Ann (Rosswurm) Cook, Uniondale, IN, Son - Kevin L. (Jodi) Cook, Monroe, IN, Daughter - Raquel Ann (Lloyd) Link, Craigville, IN, 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren, and Brother - Marvin (Rochelle) Cook, Geneva, IN.

He was preceded in death by his Father - George Cook, Mother - Blanche (Nevil) Cook, Son - Christopher DeWayne Cook, Daughter - Dianna Lynn Studebaker, 1 Great Grandchild, Brothers – James, George Fred, & Richard Cook, and Sister - Peggy Marlene Bowman.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home located at 100 N. Washington St. Geneva on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Bill's life will follow at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roy Nevil officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville. Military honors will be conducted by the US Army.
