Carol J. Chandler, 85, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 10:20 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.  She was born on Sunday, July 3, 1938, in Montpelier, IN.  Carol was a 1956 graduate of Montpelier High School. She worked for Henderson's Clothing & Shoe Store, Joes IGA, Indiana Box, Sheller Globe, and retired after many years of service from Gripco. Carol very much loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a dedicated daughter and sister. Carol played a role in many people's lives in Montpelier. She loved her time sitting on the porch talking to anyone who stopped by.

She will be sadly missed by her son - Mike (Sandy) Chandler, Marion, IN, son - Steve (Annette) Chandler, Montpelier, IN, grandchild - Brad Chandler, Greenville, NC, grandchild - Kiley (Austin) Studebaker, Marion, IN, grandchild - Laura Chandler, Montpelier, IN, grandchild - Cole (Karli) Chandler, Upland, IN, grandchild - Mychal Chandler, Greenfield, IN, great grandchild - Paisley Chandler, great grandchild - Pharyn Chandler, great grandchild - Jordi Chandler, great grandchild - Addison Studebaker, great grandchild - Jackson Studebaker, brother - James Moyer, Marion, IN

She was preceded in death by her mother - Dorothy Catherine Moyer and her granddaughter - Lauren Chandler.

Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery 6454 N. Woodlawn Rd. Montpelier, IN.
