Christine "Chris" Judith Francis Elizabeth Ramsey, entered the arms of Jesus during the hour of mercy, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at her home in Montpelier.

Chris was born on September 9, 1970, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Walter and Jean Patricia (Moan) Schneider. She attended Bishop Boyle Catholic High School for 2 years and then graduated from Peabody Public High School. Chris worked as a Juvenile Corrections Officer and enjoyed reading and arts and crafts. Chris loved her children and grandchildren. She was fond of playing board games with her family and volunteering at the local animal shelter.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jean Schneider, fiancée, David Bennett, and daughter, Kara Rose Ramsey.

Loving survivors include her children, Kristy (Andrew) Riley, Jack Richards, Kaylie (Kyle) Knight, and Kelly (Jessey) Carnes, grandchildren, Trinity Stever, Trace Schneider, Savannah Richards, Hazel Knight, Connor Knight, Braelyn Rathbun, Draedyn Ramsey, Empryss Ramsey, Chloe Carnes, and Milly Carnes, and siblings, Mary Ann Chechak and Walter "Bob" (Hope) Schneider.

A Christian mass will be offered at 3pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 209 S Spring St, Hartford City, IN 47348, with Father Kevin Hurley officiating. Visitation will occur after at Walker and Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St. Montpelier, IN, 47359 on Friday from 5pm to 8pm.
