Clara N. (Schwartz) Eicher, age 76, of rural Berne, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Parkview North in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1949, in Adams Co., IN. to Noah L. and Elizabeth Schwartz.  She was married to Ben J. Eicher. Clara was a homemaker and of the Old Order Amish Church.

Survivors include her children, Benjamin (Lydia) Eicher, Celina, OH, Noah (Marie) Eicher, Berne, IN, Joe (Katie) Eicher, Berne, IN, Marcus (Ada) Eicher, Berne, IN, Paul (Mary) Eicher, Geneva, IN, 58 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Malinda W. Eicher, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Eicher residence located at 648 E. 700 S. Berne on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Eicher residence at 8:30 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2026 with Bishop Sam N. Schwartz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery.
