Corey M. Newman, 43, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 1:31 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, April 29, 1981, in Bluffton, IN.  He was a 2000 graduate of Southern Wells High School. Corey had a passion for working on cars and would spend a lot of time trying to get cars up and running again. He enjoyed fishing, rooting for the New York Giants and getting a good bargain, just like his mom. Corey was a proud dad and tried to do his best in raising his kids, Rhiley (age 7) and Rhett (age 6). His kids were his everything and he loved them so very much.

Loving survivors include his father Jerome Newman, Montpelier, IN, daughter Rhiley Mae Newman, son Rhett Matthew Newman, brothers Jerome (Rebecca) Newman, Bluffton, IN & Chad (Shanna) Newman, Markle, IN, sister Shaya (Adam) Hormann, Montpelier, IN, nieces and nephews Gavin Newman, Jordan Szarenski, Devin Caudill, Kipton Newman, Kynzlee Newman, Kayda Newman, Collin Hormann, Kailey Dawson, Addison Hormann, Claire Hormann, and Olivia Newman.

He was preceded in death by his mother Melissa Newman and daughter Rhiannon Sophia Newman.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
