Dal John Fosnaugh, 79, of Berne, IN, passed away at 6:42 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN. He was born on Tuesday, November 24, 1942, in Adams County, IN. He married Doveanna (Nussbaum) Fosnaugh on Saturday, April 4, 1964 in Berne, IN. Dal was a 1961 graduate of Geneva High School. He attended the Great Lakes Bible College in Lansing, MI. and in 1979 he became a minister. Dal preached at the Uniontown Church of Christ for 26 years. Dal worked at CTS in Berne, IN for 43 years. He was a board member at Ball State Christian Campus House, and at the Woodburn Christian Children's Home. Dal had been a supply minister for many congregations over the years. He was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ where he had been preaching for the last 5 years. Dal enjoyed reading books, camping, and spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his Wife- Doveanna (Nussbaum) Fosnaugh, Berne, IN, Daughters - Michelle (Barry) F. Fisher, Berne, IN, Christy (Myron) M. Klesner, Grand Junction, CO, Grandchildren – Andrew (Laura) Fisher, Aimee (Jacob) Haught, Abbie (Zack) Clark, Emily Klesner, Joshua Klesner, Caleb Klesner, Sister - Judy (Gary) Rice, Niles, MI, Sister - Jane Uhrick, Bluffton, IN, Brother - Ron (Beth) Fosnaugh, Lafayette, IN, Brother - Gary J. Fosnaugh, Geneva, IN, Sister - Vickie (Gerald) Bailey, Portland, IN, Sister - Jill Sipe, Monroe, IN, Brother - Jim (Karen) Fosnaugh, Geneva, IN, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandson expected in October.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Victor John Fosnaugh, Mother - Vivian Lucille Morgan, & Brothers - Justin L. Fosnaugh, and William F. Fosnaugh, who died at birth.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N. Washington St. Geneva, IN. on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also one hour prior to services at the Decatur Church of Christ on Friday, October 7, 2022.

A service to celebrate Dal's life will be at Decatur Church of Christ 700 E. Monroe St. Decatur, IN. at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 7, 2022 with Pastor Gil Alicea officiating. The service will be live streamed where you can watch on Glancy Funeral Homes Facebook page. The livestream will begin a few minutes before the service. Interment will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
