Dale W. DeWees, 95 of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Dale was born July 2, 1927 to George "Harvey" DeWees and June (Christy) DeWees. He graduated from Salamonie Township in 1945 and married Betty Williams on December 3, 1949 in Warren, Indiana. He served in the United States Army during WWII for 18 months where he spent time in the British West Indies, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. Dale was a Life Member of the American Legion Post #368 of Van Buren and a Life Member of the Masonic Lodge #333 of Mt. Etna. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier for the Warren Post Office for over 40 years. Dale enjoyed his family and traveling.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, George "Harvey" DeWees, mother, June (Christy) DeWees, wife, Betty DeWees, sons, Wendell DeWees, David DeWees, and Steve DeWees, and brothers, Billy, Richard, and James DeWees.

Loving survivors include his Son, Harvey (Wife, Sharon) DeWees, Laconia, NH, Daughter, Pamela (Husband, Mark) Winzenburg, Katy, TX, Daughter in law, Jane DeWees, Kouts, IN, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may gather for a private graveside service on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Masonic Cemetery in Warren, Indiana. Chaplain Ginny Soultz will officiate.
