Daniel D. Schwartz Jr., of rural Berne, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 3:31 PM at Riley Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Fort Wayne, IN. Daniel was of the Old Order Amish Church.

Survivors include his parents, Daniel D.E. & Rosie D. (Wickey) Schwartz, Berne, IN; sisters, Rosina D. Schwartz, Edith D. Schwartz, and Martha D. Schwartz, all of Berne, IN; paternal grandparents, Daniel T. & Dehlia D. Schwartz, Berne, IN; and maternal grandparents, David W. & Priscilla M. Wickey, Geneva, IN.

Visitation will be held at the residence of Daniel D.E. Schwartz located at 5645 S. Salem Road, Berne, IN 46711, on Wednesday, December 24, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 25.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Daniel D.E. Schwartz residence at 9:00 AM on Friday, December 26, with Bishop Daniel T. Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Creek Amish Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
