Dannie E. Parrett, 75 of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Wellbrooke of Wabash.

Dannie was born on August 12, 1949, in Huntington, Indiana to George and Hattie (Cline) Parrett. After graduating from high school, Dannie worked in Mt. Etna as a mechanic and then for Stoops Freightliner as a semi mechanic and eventually as supervisor. Dannie married Dorothy "Jean" Parrett on April 12, 1969, in Huntington, Indiana. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2024. Dannie enjoyed working on cars, fishing with his father in his younger years, and spending time with his family. He was an excellent leader of his family, teaching them how to work hard and provide.

Dannie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, William and Jim Parrett.

Loving survivors include his children, April (Heath) Pressler, Joanna (Mark) Saleem, and Diana (Ricky) Brown, grandchildren, Cameron (Kaylee) Pressler, Megan (Joe) Weaver, Kassandra (Daniel) Barnes, Miranda Combs and Brayden Saleem, and great grandchildren, Amiah Barnes, Waylon Pressler, Natalie Weaver, Emilee Pressler, Charlie Barnes, Lillian Weaver, Everlie Weaver and Emmett Pressler.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Lancaster Wesleyan Church located at 3147 W 543 S, Huntington, IN 46750, from 3pm to 4pm. A funeral service will begin at 4pm with Pastor Ron Forsythe officiating.
