David Lee Adney, 74, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 11:56 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his home in Montpelier, IN.  He was born on Saturday, September 9, 1950, in Hartford City, IN.  David was a graduate of Montpelier High School. In his younger years, David was a member of the Montpelier River Rats. He served for 6 years in the National Guards, Bluffton unit. David retired after over 30 years of service from IMI. He was a member of the Millard-Brown American Legion Post 156. David enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and sling shot, wood and leather working, listening to music, and maintaining a salt water & tropical fish aquarium.

David will be sadly missed by his Daughter - Konnie "Kay" (Pat) Dunnuck, Poneto, IN, Grandchildren - Kaitlyn (Josh) Dunnuck, Poneto, IN, Jacey (Jersey) Dunnuck, Poneto, IN, Great Grandchildren – Myla and Zoey, Brother - Timothy (Debi) Adney, Muncie, IN, and Nieces - Aubriana & Gabrielle.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Charles Adney, Mother - Martha (Royal) Adney, Infant Son - Jonathan David Adney, and Brother - Thomas Adney.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Military honors will be conducted by the Millar-Brown American Legion Post 156.
