Deborah S. Haupthof, 73 of Warren, Indiana, passed away on September 21, 2023, at her home at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Debbie was born on March 17, 1950, in Marion, Indiana, to Donald Max and Darline (Faulk) Rish. She graduated from Eastbrook High School 1968, and married John Haupthof on August 7, 1968. John preceded her in death on December 3, 2018. She worked as a stay at home mother while the children were small, and then worked at Heritage Pointe as a nurse's aide for 35 years. She enjoyed watching IU sports and was a member of the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority. Debbie loved to go bowling, mushroom hunting and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, husband, sister-in-law, Rosemary (Marvin) Zeller, and brother-in-law, Ray Bright.

Loving survivors include her mother, Darline Rish of Van Buren, IN, son, John F. Haupthof of Bloomington, IN, daughter, Reasha (Shawn) Dakin of Gas City, IN, daughter, Marlena (John) Little of Woodstock, GA, grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Dakin, Peyton, Chloe, and Levi Little, siblings, Dixie (Jeff) Peery of Gas City, IN, Darla Bright of Swayzee, IN, Dea (Joe) Campbell of Poneto, IN, Donald Rish of Van Buren, IN and Daniel Rish of Florida.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son located at 203 N Matilda St. Warren, IN 46792, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will begin at 1pm with Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion, Indiana.
