Debra K Devers, 71 of Van Buren, Indiana, passed away on September 28, 2024, at Marion Health.

Debra was born on March 23, 1953, in Richmond, Indiana to Jess Jr. and Lena Marcella (Shaffer) Hillard. She graduated from Centerville High School and married Russell Devers on July 9, 1991, in Grant County, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 2014. Deb loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed traveling and camping with her special friends and caregivers, Lupe and Rose Cadena. Deb was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Edward Hillard and Terry Hillard.

Loving survivors include her children, Bambi Smallwood, Jamie Smallwood, and Barbara Gadd, grandchildren, Cody Nagy, Kylie Nagy, Ashlyn Roberson, Aaron Canada, Peyton Smallwood, Joseph Gadd, and Cierra Gadd, great grandchildren, Liam Nagy and Dean Roberson, sisters, Tammy Oakley and Candace Hillard, and special friends, Lupe and Rose Cadena.

Friends and family may gather for a graveside service on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11am at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. She will be laid to rest immediately following with her husband, Russell.
