Edith P. Billington, 71, of Geneva, IN, Adams County, passed away at 9:12 PM on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN.  She was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1951, in Adams County, IN.  She married Allen Lee Billington on Friday, January 25, 1974 in Wells County, IN.  Edith attended South Adams school and Jay County High School. She attended the Berne First Church of the Nazarene in Berne, IN. Edith drove the amish children to school. She had worked for Berne Furniture. She was an avid animal lover and was a member of the Red Hatters. Edith enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her mother - Iris Pauline (Cline) Cook, Geneva, IN, husband - Allen Lee Billington, Geneva, IN, son - Rick (Melissa) Bergman, Geneva, IN, son - Doug Bergman, son - Norman (Missy) Bergman, Geneva, IN, daughter - Mary "Erica Grace" (Joe) Dellavecchia, Huntington, IN, son - Chad Allen (Kim) Billington, Geneva, IN, brother - Bob Denney, Rockford , OH, sister - Brenda (Jim) Huey, Geneva, IN, sister - Patty Pritchell, Monticello, IN, 16 grandchildren - and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father - George Orvis Treece, and step father - Jimmy Lee Cook

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Berne First Church of the Nazarene, 604 Sprunger St, Berne, Indiana, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Berne First Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 6:00PM with the Rev. Wilbur Taylor and Matt Matthews officiating.

Preferred memorials:  Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses
