Elizabeth "Libby" Simison, 81, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 1:30 AM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at her home in Hartford City, IN.  She was born on Tuesday, June 8, 1943, in Big Stone Gap, VA.  She married Allen Lee Simison on Sunday, August 25, 1991 in Blackford County, IN. Libby was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hartford City. She was a Hartford City Volunteer EMT. Libby received her LPN license in 1996. She was a nurse at Millers Merry Manor and retired as a nurse from Ball Memorial Hospital. Libby loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She will forever be missed by her Daughter - Amy (Steve) Pontius, Hartford City, IN, Grandchildren - Zachary (Stephanie) Pontius, Warren, IN, Haley (Taylor) Bailey, Batavia, OH, Great Grandchildren - Caleb Allen Pontius, Sadie Kaye Pontius, Isabelle Rae Bailey, and Sister - Lois Chandler, Montpelier, IN.

She was preceded in death by her 1st Husband - Michael E. Roush, 2nd Husband - Allen Lee Simison, Father - Robert Jackson Harrold, Mother - Edna Lillybelle (Blevins) Harrold, Sons - Aaron and Scott M. Roush, and Brother - Ted Harrold.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Libby's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 with Pastor Kevin Lex officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.

Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
