ESTHER LAGUNA NUNEZ, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 8:30 AM surrounded by family at Heritage Pointe of Warren. Esther was passionately committed to her family. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, walking, sharing her creative talents, volunteering, traveling, gardening, cuddling furry family members, watching movies with her kids, and cooking their favorite meal. Among the many gifts God gave Esther were her abilities to see the best in everyone and selflessly care for those in need. She role modeled hard work, unconditional love, the importance of education, and strong faith. She was as humble and kind as she was courageous.

Esther is survived by her loving children, Lonnie (Carla) Nunez, Richard Nunez, Sam Nunez, Natalie (Rob) Manges, and Candida Nunez; grandchildren, Erica Nunez, Ryan Nunez, Zach Manges, Maria Nunez, Veronica Manges, and Mitchell Nunez; and great-granddaughter, Zoey Nunez. She is also survived by eight of her 12 siblings.

Esther was preceded in death by her beloved, infant son, Timothy Nunez.

There will be a private blessing of the ashes service. The family will host a private celebration of her life luncheon at a later date.
