Evan Hugh Brunner, 94, of Findlay, OH, formerly a resident of Adams Co. IN. passed away at 9:40 AM on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, OH.  He was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1928, in Geneva, IN.  He married Helen J. (Patterson) Brunner on December 24, 1948 in Jay City, IN. Evan attended the Jefferson Twp. High school. He was a bulk truck delivery man and a bulk fuel deliverer for Marathon Oil Co. and a chemical deliverer for Helena Chemical. Evan was a member of the West Missionary Church in Berne. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, listening to Guy Lombardo, motorcycling, spending winters in Florida, and watching the Cincinnati Reds.

Evan will be sadly missed by his Daughter - Pamela K. Heimann, Findlay, OH, Grandchildren - Jason C. Burry, Woody T. (Katie Hostler) Heimann, Erin A. (Cole) Hassan, Great Grandchildren - Ava J. Hassan, Brier A. Hassan, Owen M. Hassan,  Sister - Cleola Teeple, Fort Wayne, IN, and 4 Nieces & 4 Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Wife - Helen J. (Patterson) Brunner, Father - Noah Martin Brunner, Mother - Hattie Christine (Yaney) Brunner, and Daughter - Jana D. Burry.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Evan's life will follow at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 with Pastor Brad Mattox officiating.  Interment will follow in the M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.
