Garnet M. Allen, 90 of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Garnet was born in Huntington County, Indiana on March 18, 1935, to Silbert "Sib" and Violet (Arnold) Hardin. She graduated from Warren High School in 1954 and married John Curtis Allen on September 1, 1956 in Warren, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2012. She was a member of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene in Warren. Garnet worked at Morrison Restaurant in Warren, Shilo Park in Marion and babysit for many children along the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her grandkids and great grandkids events, collected bells, and liked to knit.

Garnet was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Leonard Hardin and Gaylord Hardin.

Loving survivors include her children, Teresa (George) Kriegbaum of Warren, IN, Wendell Allen of Bluffton, IN, Debbie Allen of Bluffton, IN, and Stacy (Dave) Miller of New Albany, IN, grandchildren, Nicole (Charlie) Shideler, Ashley (Doug) Knowles, Julie (Tyler) Davis, Morgan (Shea) Beauchamp, Drake (Mikayla) Miller, 7 great grandchildren, and sister Donna Custer, of Fairmount, IN.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel, located at 801 Huntington Ave. Warren, IN 46792, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will begin at 1pm with Chaplain Ginny Soultz officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband at Gardens of Memory in Marion, Huntington County, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Warren.
