Gregory J. Shinholt, age 62, of Sheridan, IN, formerly of Van Buren & Marion, IN. passed away at 12:20 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Majestic Care in Sheridan, IN.  He was born on Tuesday, September 10, 1963, in Marion, IN.  He married Tina (Bockelmann) Shinholt. Gregory attended Eastbrook High School. He worked at Shinholt Construction where he was a master of dry wall. Gregory enjoyed reading his Bible, listening to music, especially Johnny Cash, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Union Chapel Baptist Church.

He will be forever missed by his Wife - Tina (Bockelmann) Shinholt, Van Buren, IN, Daughter - Taylor (Josh) Green, Van Buren, IN, Grandchildren - Joseph Green, Van Buren, IN, Easton Green, Van Buren, IN, Morgan Green, Van Buren, IN, Brothers - Scott (Holli) Shinholt, Van Buren, IN, David (Becky) Elzey, Bluffton, IN, Gary (Rhonda) Elzey, Murray, IN, Sisters - Kelly (Miles) Proctor, Van Buren, IN, Louann (Ben) Townsend, Van Buren, IN, and several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Max E. Shinholt, Mother - Shirley (Taylor) Shinholt, and Brother - Danny Shinholt.

There will be no viewing or services at this time.
