Hope Gaynell Myers Hudson, 81, of Fayetteville, WV, formerly of Geneva, Indiana, passed away at 10:07 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA. She was born on Friday, September 20, 1940, in Adams County, IN. Hope was a 1958 graduate of Geneva High School. She lived most of her life in Adams County. Hope attended Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Monroe, Indiana. She was a member of the Berne-Geneva Red Hatters Ladies Group. She had also been a past member of the Geneva Fire Department Auxiliary. Hope was the owner of the Candlelight Gift Shop in Geneva, Indiana. She also had worked at the Back 40 restaurant in Decatur, Indiana. Hope was a homemaker. She loved her family and friends and she cherished each and every one of them.

She will be sadly missed by her Sons – Tom (Jill) Neal. She was preceded in death by her Father - Melvin Myers, Mother - Anna (Leichty) (Myers) Roop, Brother - True Myers, 1st Husband - Paul "Buzz" Neal, 2nd Husband - Clarence Hudson.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva, Indiana on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lighthouse United Methodist Church 201 S Van Buren St. Monroe, Friday, September 23, 2023.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Lighthouse United Methodist Church 201 S. Van Buren St. Monroe at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 with Rev. David P. Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne.
