Ida D. Schwartz, 92, of Monroe, IN, passed away at 5:20 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her home in Monroe, IN.  She was born on Thursday, June 26, 1930, in Lagrange Co., IN.  She married Joni B.  Schwartz on Thursday, January 26, 1967 in Lagrange County, IN. Ida was of the Old Order Amish Church.

Survivors include her Husband - Joni B. Schwartz, Monroe, IN, Brother - Ernest W. Yoder, Middlebury, IN, Brother - Henry Miller, Lagrange, IN, Brother - Daniel W. (Mary) Yoder, Middlebury, IN, Sister - Mary W. (Orlie) Yoder, Topeka, IN, Brother - Terry W. (Berta) Yoder, Goshen, IN, Sister - Polly (Mose) Yoder, Claire, MI, Brother - Melvin W. (Vera) Yoder, Middlebury, IN, Caretakers - Joni M. Schwartz, Monroe, IN, Susan S. Schwartz, Monroe, IN, and Maria J. Schwartz, Monroe, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Daniel J. Bontrager, Mother - Elizabeth J. Bontrager, Son - Daniel J. Schwartz.

Visitation will be at the Joni B. Schwartz residence 325 W. 200 S. Monroe, IN. 46772 on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on  Sunday, January 8, 2023.

A Funeral Service will be her residence at 9:00 AM on Monday, January 9, 2023 with Bishop Joni M. Schwartz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Schwartz Cemetery in Adams County.
