Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Whitcomb, 76, of rural Pennville, IN, (Penn Twp. Jay Co.) passed away at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Christmas Day at her home in Pennville, IN.  She was born on Saturday, September 4, 1948, in Berne, IN.  She married Perry L. Hanlin on Friday, December 3, 2021; he preceded her in death on November 8, 2024. Jackie was a 1966 graduate of Chester Center High School. She worked at RCA right after high school as a powerhouse tech. Jackie worked at Saint-Gobain, Dunkirk, IN. for 6 years before retiring. Jackie enjoyed crocheting, running her own loom, and especially listening to music. She liked all kinds of music from old folk, rock, blue grass, and Christian. If she wasn't listening to music, she had the NPR talk radio on or the tv turned to Ancient Aliens and Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch.

Jackie will be forever missed by her Sons - Sean Whitcomb, Pennville, IN, Mason Riesen, Pennville, IN, Brother - Randy (Melanie Morningstar)) Riesen, Geneva, IN, Sisters - Vickie Riesen, Fort Recovery, OH, Toni Riesen, Portland, IN, and many Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband - Perry L. Hanlin, Father - Rex "Cowboy" Riesen, Mother - Doris Charlotte (Richards) Riesen, and Brother - Doug Riesen.

There will be  a Celebration of Life at a later date.
