James "Doug" Bedwell, 69, of Sevierville, TN, formerly Pennville, IN. passed away at 10:06 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Jefferson City Health & Rehab. in Jefferson City, TN.  He was born on Saturday, December 12, 1953, in Hartford City, IN.  He married Denise (Lacey) Bedwell. Doug was a 1973 graduate of Pennville High School. He spent his early years in Pennville, IN. before moving to Tennessee. Doug worked at Walmart in Sevierville, TN.

Doug will be sadly missed by his Wife - Denise (Lacey) Bedwell, Sevierville, TN, Mother - June Marie (Taylor) Bedwell, Sevierville, TN, and Sisters - Rhonda (Jack) Tharp, Maryville, TN, & Deanna Clabo, Sevierville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his Father - James A. Bedwell, Brother - Bruce Bedwell, and Brother-in-law - Rick Clabo.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier to celebrate Doug's life on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Anyone wanting to share a special memory or story during this time about Doug are encouraged to do so.
