Jay E. Dailey, 63, of Berne, IN, passed away at 12:03 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, June 10, 1959, in Decatur, IN.  He married Theresa (Dailey) Dailey on Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Berne, IN. Jay was a 1978 graduate of Adams Central High School. He worked at E.P. Graphics, Berne, IN. for 38 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Berne and of the Eagles in Decatur. Jay enjoyed fishing, Nascar, watching the Colts, drag racing, and loved watching the bears and being in the mountains of Tennessee.

He will be sadly missed by his Wife - Theresa (Dailey) Dailey, Berne, IN, Children- Jason K. (Kim) Dailey, Estill Springs, TN, Carey (Megan) Dailey, Berne, IN, Brandi (John) Leeson, Pennville, IN, Dillion Stolz, Bryant, IN, Shane Dailey, Berne, IN, 8 Grandchildren, Brothers - Gary (Pat) Dailey, Jonesboro, AR, Gene Dailey, Berne, IN, Jim (Vera) Dailey, Geneva, IN, Darrell  Dailey, Bryant, IN, Sisters - Margie (Rick) Teboe, Monroe, IN, Rose (Merrill) Ellenberger, Berne, IN, and Mother in Law- Mary Lou Dailey.

He was preceded in death by his Father - Orval Dailey, Mother - Iva Lou (Miller) Dailey, and Stepmother - Dora Mae Dailey.
