Jeffrey L. Shook, 66 of rural Van Buren, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at his home.

Jeff was born on September 5, 1957, in Marion, Indiana, to Xen Shook and Barbara Jean Small. He graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1975 and was a member of Teamsters. The Teamsters is America's largest, most diverse union made up of champion freight drivers. Jeff was a driver for many years at UPS, where he retired from. He enjoyed arrow-head hunting, fishing, and hunting.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Xen Shook, and stepfather, Richard Spencer.

Loving survivors include his mother, Barbara (Bill) Small, children, Heather (Aaron Dixon) Shook of Van Buren, IN, Daniel (Jasmine) Shook of Mississippi, and Chelsie (Aaron) Carter of Roanoke, VA, grandchildren, Kobe Davis, Lola Shook, Logan Shook, and Jayde Carter, bonus grandchildren, Aaron Dixon Jr., and Aiden Dixon, great grandson, Krue Davis, siblings, James Shook, John Shook, and Jody Heintz, all of Marion, IN, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember at the Van Buren Church of the Vine Fellowship Hall located at 108 S 2nd St. Van Buren, IN 46991, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm for visiting time with the family.
