Jennifer "Jenny" K. Schisler, 68, of Pennville, IN, passed away at 12:15 AM on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at her home. She was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1956, in Portland, IN.  Jenny married Vaughn E.  Schisler on June 6, 1975, at the Friends Church in Pennville; Vaughn passed away on March 13, 2003. She was a 1975 graduate of Dunkirk High School and formerly worked for Swiss Village as a CNA. Jenny was a member of Hickory Grove Church in Jay County. She loved doing crafts, crocheting, and collecting Precious Moments. Jenny was always happy and loved taking care of her friends and family. She will always be remembered for her big heart and the families she took care of like her very own; the Hanlin Family, Davidson Family, Paxson Family, Wells Family and Monroe Family.

She will be forever missed by her daughters, Angela (Chad) Miller, Muncie, IN and Amy (Lonnie) Bell of Pennville, IN, sisters, Norma Smitley, of Dunkirk, IN, and grandchildren, Kylee (Travis) Garringer, Ridgeville, IN, Kaleb (Aleah) Bell, Farmland, IN, Vanessa (Bre) Miller, Nashville, TN, Lance Miller, Muncie, IN, Kaylyn Bell, Pennville, IN, great grandchildren, Levi, Braxton, Braelyn, Bentley, Wesley, and lifelong best friend, Denise & Mike, Pennville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn E. Schisler, father, John George Pyle, mother, Helen Juanita (Crawmer) Pyle, grandson, Blake Ashton Miller, brothers, Johnny Pyle, Don Salmon, Bill Pyle, Bob Pyle, Jim Pyle, and sisters, Thelma Kongar, Roberta Maloney, June Hough, Maxine Davis, and Imogene Hart.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, located at 109 W. Windsor Street, Montpelier, Indiana 47359 on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Jenny's life will follow at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 6:00 PM with Pastor Earl Doll officiating.
