JoAnn Groves, age 82, of Berne, IN, passed away at 11:23 AM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Envive of Berne in Berne, IN.  She was born on Friday, January 30, 1942, in Frankfort, KY.  Joann was an only child. She attended High School in Kentucky. JoAnn later married local resident Haywood "Tuck" Groves, and together they resided in Geneva. They had no children. JoAnn had worked for Elkhart Products in Geneva for over 25 years. She enjoyed watching American Pickers and she liked to crochet, color and read books. JoAnn had a love for cats, and she enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

She will be missed by her cousins - Jessica Saavedra, Frankfort, KY, Mason Doss, Frankfort, KY, Dee Dee Phifier, Glassford, KY and many local friends and co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her father - Henry Porter Brown, mother - Zelma Grace Brown, husband - Haywood B. "Tuck" Groves, and cousin - Connie Jupin

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N. Washington Street, Geneva on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

A service to celebrate her life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N. Washington Street Geneva at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024, with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
