Jody Ray McClain, age 59, of Montpelier, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Montpelier. He was born on July 11, 1966, in Hartford City, IN. Jody was a 1984 graduate of Blackford High School. Throughout his career, he worked for Wayne Metals, Keebler, Payton, FCC, and Corning Glass.

He will be missed by his father, Adelm McClain, Montpelier- daughter — Jessica McClain, Muncie, IN, and his grandson — Parker McClain. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother — Linda (Williams) McClain.

There will be no calling or services at this time. Private family arrangements will be held at a later date.
