John R. "Turk" Ramseyer, 68 of Montpelier, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at The Waters of Muncie.

Turk was born on April 9, 1955, in Blackford County to Robert O. Ramseyer and Violet Ruth (Wentz) Ramseyer. He graduated from Blackford High School in 1973. Turk was a construction worker, first for Hartford Concrete and then later for Gary McDonald and then Mark Bryant. Turk was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Turk was preceded in death by his father, Robert O. Ramseyer.

Loving survivors include his mother, Ruth Ramseyer of Montpelier, IN, and brothers, Randy (Bonnie) Ramseyer, Russell (Sheryl) Ramseyer, Roger (Michelle) Ramseyer, and Raymond Ramseyer, and several nieces and nephews.

In honoring of Turk's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
