Joseph Lewis Frazier, 95, a lifetime resident of Grant County, Indiana, passed away at 11:41pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Rolling Meadows Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Joe was born on July 16, 1929, to John P. and Molly (Lewis) Frazier. He graduated from Van Buren High School in 1947. He married his first wife, Marilyn Baker on March 12, 1949, and she preceded him in death on June 21, 1955. He married Imogene Korporal on August 25, 1956, in Marion, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2021. Joe formerly was a farmer, retired from Teamsters in 1980 after 22 and a half years. He later retired from Eastbrook High School as a maintenance employee. Joe enjoyed garden tractor pulling and taking his stagecoach with 6 ponies in parades. Joe also enjoyed camping and playing bingo and dominoes with their friends at the senior center in Marion. He was the youngest child of 11.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, wives, and siblings, Forrest, Floyd, Chester, Bill, Perry, John, Silas and Maxine Frazier, Mabel Seeley and Margaret Dunn.

Loving survivors include his sons, Joseph (JoEllen) Frazier Jr. of Marion, IN, and Randall (Marsha) Frazier of Van Buren, Indiana, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, located at 201 W Main St. Van Buren, IN 46991 from 1pm to 3pm. A graveside service will follow the viewing hours at Van Buren Cemetery with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating.
