June E. Derrickson, 95, of Celina, OH, passed away at 11:11 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Miller Place in Celina, OH. She was born on Sunday, July 24, 1927, in Linn Grove, IN. She married Wayne Derrickson on Saturday, December 21, 1946 in Cairo, Ohio. June was a 1945 graduate of Hartford High School. She was a member of the Living Waters United Methodist Church in Bluffton. June was a homemaker and a farmer's wife who helped her husband with the farming duties.

She will be sadly missed by her Daughters - Janelle (Husband, Richard) Nuding, Celina, OH, Janene Dubach, Gainesville, VA, Grandchildren - Kevin Nuding, Celina, OH, Kim (Kevin) Weadock, Celina, OH, Lori Simber, Gainesville, VA, Nathan (Kim) Minton, North Pole, AK, Megan (Phil) Beckett, Warrington, UK, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband - Wayne Derrickson, Father - J. Dale Shanks, Mother - Mae (Liby) Shanks, Brother - Donald Lee Shanks, Sister - Dorothy Parrish, Brother - Richard Shanks, and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home on Monday, May 8, 2023.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2023. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
