Karen Lynn (Shelton) Bolt, age 75, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 2:22 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at her home. She was born on Monday, January 2, 1950, in Hartford City, IN. Karen attended Montpelier High School. She worked for Key Plastics, Hartford City, WIC office, Hartford City, and Peyton's Northern, Bluffton. Karen enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing board games, and playing cards.

She will be forever missed by her Daughter - Traci (Joe Oswalt) Bolt Street, Hartford City, IN, Son - Eric Bolt, Montpelier, IN, Stepdaughter - Cari (Adam) Ellenberger, Bluffton, IN, Stepdaughter - Brandi Hernandez, Hartford City, IN, Grandchildren - Brandi Lynn Street (Rhenden) Peppers, Anderson, IN, Shannon Renee (Levi Sells) Walker, Hartford City, IN, Christopher David Secrest, Hartford City, IN, Destiny Howard, Bluffton, IN, Melvin Hernandez, Jr., Bluffton, IN, Brian Hernandez, Hartford City, IN, Austin Bennett, Bluffton, IN, Jusaina Hernandez-Gutierrez, Hartford City, IN, Great Grandchild - Lennon Raine Peppers, Anderson, IN, and Sister - Stevie (Steve) Salyer, St. Mary's, OH.

She was preceded in death by her Father - William Edward Shelton, Mother - Doris Roberta (Smith) Shelton, Daughter - Shelby Bolt, Grandchild - Michael Hodge, Sisters - Jeanne Ann Sluder, Becky S. Cooley, Brothers - John E. Shelton, Michael T. Shelton, and William M. Shelton.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 15, 2025, with Chaplain Les Turner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.

Preferred memorials can be made to the Funeral Home to help with expenses
