Larry D. Best Sr., 66, of Dunkirk, IN, Knox Twp. Jay Co. passed away at 7:35 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his home in Dunkirk, IN.  He was born on Sunday, February 2, 1958, in Portland, IN.  Larry attended Portland High School. He was a self-employed carpenter. Larry had worked for Pennville Custom Cabinets, No Door, Geneva, IN, and Champion Homes, Ridgeville, IN. He enjoyed working on cars and woodworking.

He will be sadly missed by his Life Partner - Sherry Ann Walker, Dunkirk, IN, Sons - Larry D. (Christine) Best, Jr., Anderson, IN, Jeremy Luke Best, Dunkirk, IN, Joshua Matthew (Codie) Best, Portland, IN, Grandchildren - Bailey Best, Kirsten Best, Austin Best, Jazzmynn Best, Great Grandchild - Carson Larose, Sister - Betty Pfiefer, Portland, IN, Brother - Mike Best, Portland, IN,
Sister - Norma (John) Bartlet, Portland, IN, Brother - Joe Daniel (Toshia) Best, Dundee, FL, and several Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father - John Daniel Best, and Mother - Betty May (Rigby) Best.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
