Lola M. Plasterer, 94, of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Lola was born on January 27, 1930, in Roanoke, Indiana, to John and Gladys (Yoquelet) Wilcoxson. She graduated from Warren High School in 1948 and married Paul A. Plasterer on September 3, 1950 in Huntington Indiana. Paul preceded her in death in 2004. Lola was an avid bowler and was involved in many activities at her church, Salamonie Church of the Brethren. She loved to play cards, especially Euchre. Lola was also a former member of the Sympathy Club of GM in Marion.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, John & Gladys Wilcoxson, husband, Paul Plasterer, sons, Gary Plasterer and Roger Plasterer, brother, Carl Wilcoxson, brother, Larry Wilcoxson, and granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel Chu.

Loving survivors include her son, Harold (Linda) Plasterer of Warren, IN, daughters, Carolyn (Steve) Redding of Huntington, IN, and Lois Plasterer of Encinitas, CA, siblings, Doris (John) Souers of Warren, IN, Esther Bartrom of Huntington, IN, Carol Riley of Huntington, IN, and Maurice (Norma) Wilcoxson of Lancaster, KY, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren with another on the way.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Salamonie Church of the Brethren, 2662 W 600 S Warren, IN 46792, from 10am to 1pm. A funeral service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Mel Zumbrun officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion, Indiana.
