Lynn Rose Williams, 86, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at her daughter's residence in Greenfield, IN.  She was born on Friday, August 27, 1937, in Broadhead, KY,

Lynn was a graduate of Richmond High School. She had worked as a cashier at the Kroger store in Richmond, Indiana. She married Thomas Williams on Thursday, September 22, 1955, in Richmond, IN. Lynn was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority, as well as the BPW. Lynn and her husband Tom owned and operated the Williams Super Valu grocery store in Montpelier for 26 years. She enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles. Lynn was a member of the St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Montpelier.

Lynn will be missed by her daughter - Vicky (Scott) Smith, Spokane, WA, daughter - Sandra Palmer, Greenfield, IN, son - Ralph T. Williams, South Bend, IN, daughter - Annette (Steve) Chandler, Montpelier, IN, son - David A. (Amy) Williams, Olathe, KS, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents- Louis and Ruby (Clark) Doan, her husband - Thomas M. Williams, a grandaughter - Lauren Chandler and a sister - Jean Butler.

A private family service will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
