Mark E. Pinkerton, of Huntington, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home after an extended illness.

Mark was born on March 24, 1958, in Huntington, Indiana, to Donald and Maxine (Welker) Pinkerton. He graduated from Huntington North High School, continued his education at Lincoln Tech, and married Angela "Angie" (Hedrick) Pinkerton on May 21, 2005. Mark worked as an ASE Master Certified Technician for Tom Kelley for most of his life. He was also a part-time professor of automotive technology at Ivy Tech Community College of Fort Wayne for several years.  Mark loved to read and spend time with his family.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, a son Daniel Pinkerton, and his sister, Fay E. Cartwright.

Loving survivors include his wife, Angie Pinkerton of Huntington, IN, sons Cory Pinkerton of Huntington, IN and Adam (Shona) Pinkerton of Roanoke, IN their children Ethan and Emilia, stepdaughter Aleix (Skyler) Fishbaugh and their children, Arionna and Eben, brother Brian (Karen) Pinkerton of Warren, IN, and sister, Carol (Mike) Keene of Warren, IN.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N Matilda St. Warren, IN 46792 from 3pm to 7pm and again on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11am to 12pm. A funeral service will begin at 12pm on Saturday with Chaplain Gerald Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Etna Cemetery in rural Huntington County.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Heart to Heart Hospice or Bread of Life Food Pantry in Warren.
