Marvin L. Carroll, 73, of rural Hartford City, IN, passed away at 11:05 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his home in Hartford City, IN.  He was born on Friday, August 11, 1950, in Hartford City, IN.  He married Deborah Lee (Brown) Carroll on Saturday, November 7, 1987, in Key West, FL. Marvin was a 1968 graduate of Montpelier High School. He moved to Key West in 1979 and moved back to Blackford County in 1992. Marvin worked as a surveyor in Florida, and had worked for Sterling Casting, HP Products, and the food pantry all in Hartford City. He was a member of the Hartford City National Guard unit and a member of NRA. Marving enjoyed attending Blackford sporting events.

He will be sadly missed by his Wife - Deborah Lee (Brown) Carroll, Hartford City, IN, Son - Shawn Allen Brown, Hartford City, IN, Daughter - Heather Ann Lennartz, Montpelier, IN, Grandchildren - Chaz A. (Taylor) Carroll, Portland, IN, Gage M. Capper, Portland, IN, R.J. Lennartz, Portland, IN, and Great Granddaughter - Hope Carroll, Portland, IN.

He was preceded in death by his Father - William Taft Carroll, and Mother - Irene Elizabeth (Shinn) Carroll.

There will be no viewing or services.
