Marvin E. Hartman, 90, of Warren, IN, (Chester Twp. Wells Co.) passed away at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023 at IU Health Blackford Hospital in Hartford City, IN.  He was born on Thursday, October 27, 1932, in Portland, IN.  He married Nina Marie (Coleman) Hartman on Tuesday, November 20, 1951 in Jay County, IN. Marvin attended Pennville High School. He spent his early years in the Pennville area. He retired from DANA Corp. after 38 years of service. Marvin enjoyed gardening, tinkering with his old Case tractor, being outdoors, shooting guns, and above all spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his Sons - David D. (Kathy) Hartman, Camby, IN, Larry G. (Sheryl) Hartman, Poneto, IN, Aaron Hartman, Warren, IN, Daughter - Debra Bowen, Van Buren, IN, Sister - Eva Coleman, Traverse City, MI, Brothers - Thurl Hartman, Traverse City, MI, John Hartman, Traverse City, MI, Lowell Hartman, Berne, IN, 7 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Wife - Nina Marie (Coleman) Hartman, Father - Ralph Hartman, Mother - Violet (Ziegler) Hartman, Brother - Dewayne Hartman, Brother - Raymond Hartman, Sister - Karen Matney, Brother - Dean Hartman, and Brother - Charles Hartman.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2023.

A service to celebrate Marvin's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
