Mary U. (Schwartz) Yoder, 76, of Monroe, IN, passed away at 6:49 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home in Monroe, IN.  She was born on Wednesday, July 31, 1946, in Adams County, IN. Mary was first married to Dan D. Wickey who was born on August 11, 1966 and died on December 21, 1994. On May 27, 1999 she was married to Virgil Yoder who was born on July 5, 1941 and died on May 4, 2002.  Mary was of the Old Order Amish Church.

Leaving to mourn is Sister – Mrs. (John) Esther Schwartz, Brother - Christy U. (Betty) Schwartz, Brother - Joe U. (Rosie) Schwartz, and Sister in Law – Mrs. Dan (Katie) Schwartz.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Jacob D. Schwartz, Mother - Martha (Neuenschwander) Schwartz, 1st Husband - Dan D. Wickey, 2nd Husband - Virgil Yoder, Step Mother - Lydiann (Erb) Schwartz, Brother - Dan N. Schwartz, and Sister - Laura U. Schwartz.

Visitation will be held at the Neil & Irene Shetler residence 1374 S. 000 Monroe on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Neil & Irene Shetler residence at 9:00 AM on Friday, November 25, 2022 with Bishop Joni M. Schwartz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Schwartz Cemetery in Adams County.

Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
