Melissa Faith Loy, 45 of Van Buren, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana.

Melissa was born on April 12, 1978, to the late Cathy Marie (Loy) Bollhoefer. She was lovingly raised in Van Buren by her mother, Cathy and father, Henry Bollhoefer. She suffered from spinal muscular atrophy but never let it affect her spirit. Melissa graduated from Eastbrook High School and continued to live in Van Buren all of her life. She enjoyed music, coloring, and taking walks.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Bollhoefer.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Blaise Wilson of Van Buren, IN, brother, Anthony Bollhoefer of Van Buren, IN, father, Henry Bollhoefer of Van Buren, IN, and nephew and niece Brandon Wolfgang and Izzabella Bollhoefer of Van Buren, IN.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
