Nancy Ann McCaffery, age 79, of Muncie, IN, formerly of Hartford City, passed away surrounded by her family at 11:17 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.   She was born on Saturday, February 15, 1947, in Blackford County, IN.  Nancy married Paul E.  McCaffery in March of 1966 in Hartford City, IN. Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Hartford City High School. She worked at Key Plastics, Armco, and was a server for Blue Willow Cafe. Nancy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, playing cards, going on road trips, going on girls' night out, and spending time with her family.

She will be forever missed by her Son - Paul McCaffery, Kokomo, IN, Daughter - Paula (Ryan) Fifer, Bryant, IN, Son - Kevin (Candace) McCaffery, Eaton, IN, Son - David (Stephanie) McCaffery, Hartford City, IN, several Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, Sister - Denise "Rick" Thomas, Hartford City, IN, Brother - Kenny (Barb) Reynolds, Hartford City, IN, Brother - Dave (Jackie) Moore, Muncie, IN, and Sister - Vicki (Jim) Sandoe, Hartford City, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Husband - Paul E. McCaffery, Father and Stepmother- Neil and Peggy Moore, Mother- Joyce (Overmyer) Reynolds, Son - Scott McCaffery, Granddaughter - Taylor McCaffery, and Brothers - Steven & Andy Moore.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 with Pastor Kevin Lex officiating. Interment will take place privately in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
